Ontatio is quite famous tourist destination in Canada, art and culture activities are much acclaimed here by people from all over the world. Nearly 22% of the 9.5 million tourists to Ontario in 2010 participated in “arts and culture activities.” For this reason government and Toronto Hotels gets prepared to welcome thousands of tourists in 2013. There are some art and culture activities going to be celebrated in the province in 2013, some of them are here:-
Ripley’s Aquarium
Ripley’s Aquarium is a home for more than 13000 inhabitants, you can enjoy a close view of diverse sea life, from corals to cuttlefish and sand tiger sharks to sea turtles. The aquarium is focusing on conservation issues and provides an interactive educational experience.
The Aga Khan Museum
The Aga Khan Museum displays 1,000-plus artistic, cultural and historical artifacts from a millennium’s worth of Islamic history. It aims to expand visitors’ understanding of Muslim and non-Muslim communities through exhibitions, libraries and cultural and educational events.
Ryerson Image Centre
Ryerson Image Centre stores many historical Black and White Photography Collections, which shows the view of social and political history of the 20th century through the lens of the most influential photographers of now. These black and white photographs include photographs of some famous people like Martin Luther King Jr., John F. Kennedy, Marilyn Monroe, Glenn Gould and Neil Armstrong.
Ontario Science Centre
Ontario Science Centre is a place to find various fun activities and in 2013 “Game On 2.0: An Exhibition” is going to create a buzz, you can play your way through the history and evolution of video games with over 150 influential games. It is going to be held from March 9 to September 2, 2013.
